Freelancing 101

Did you miss this popular session at the NCW 2019 conference? Did you attend and want more? Here's an opportunity to get down and dirty about freelancing; a hands-on interactive workshop on the nuts and bolts on how to get paid for your writing. No question too silly! This intensive session will help identify areas you want to write about, provide examples of winning pitches, what to look for in contracts, how to invoice, share spreadsheet examples, how to research potential markets, and why freelancing can be fun. Treat writing as a professional business and customers will want more. A small-class atmosphere will provide meaningful interaction and you'll walk away with a game plan.
